PARTNERSHIPS
Mae Partneriaeth Ogwen yn falch iawn i fod yn gysylltiedig a datblygiad Sied Cyn-Filwyr Bethesda. Mae cyd-weithio agos yn digwydd rhwng y ddau gorff drwy ein prosiect Dyffrn Gwyrdd (https://www.partneriaethogwen.cymru/cy/dyffryn-gwyrdd/ ) ac mae cefnogaeth Mark a'r criw i'n gwaith wrth sefydlu'n Hwb newydd ar y stryd Fawr wedi bod yn amhrisiadwy. Mae Sied Cyn-Filwyr Bethesda yn cyfrannu at waith Grwp Llwywio'n prosiect ac yn un o saith aelod craidd ar gyfer datblygu'r gwaith. Byddwn yn parhau'i weithio'n agos dros y blynyddoedd nesaf er mwyn datblygu cyfleoedd ar gyfer unigolion a grwpiau cymunedol i gymryd rhan mewn datblygu, adfer a chynnal ein amgylchedd leol.
Partneriaeth is proud to be associated with the establishment of the Bethesda Vet's Sheds. We have developed a close working relationship through or Dyffryn Gwyrdd project (https://www.partneriaethogwen.cymru/en/dyffryn-gwyrdd/) and the support of Mark and others at the plot has been invaluable to us whilst setting up our new Hub on the High Street. The Bethesda Vet's Sheds contribute to our Steering Group and are one of seven core members supporting the development of the project. We will continue to work closely together over the coming years to develop opportunities for individuals and community groups to take part in developing, restoring and sustaining our local environment.
BOOTS ON THE GROUND
Boots on the Ground Cymru works with Veterans on their journey towards improved mental health, wellbeing and community connection by creating new pathways driven through outdoor engagement.
Activities currently include:
Social forestry, community food growing and gardening, wellbeing walks, arts, woodwork, conservation sessions, litter picking hubs and more. Working closely with Veterans Sheds Gwynedd in Bethesda we will be hosting our first Vets Breakfast June 24th with planter box making and the start of our Natural Resources Wales supported habitat box sessions in the afternoon. This will be a regular drop-in session with a calendar of events to follow including the development of a community garden, orchard and wildflower meadow on site.
We will also be working with Cwm Idwal Partnership to offer a variety of activities including well-being walks and conservation sessions.
Boots on the Ground Cymru covers much of Wales and was established by Alabaré Homes for Veterans and is a Positive Pathways project funded through the Armed Forces Covenant Fund. To take part or find out more please contact: Lee Duggan 07870 480055
